5-29-20  THOUGHTS

If I count correctly, this is my 49th posting of my daily thoughts.  I’m asking myself this morning,
why are you doing this?  Why did you start?  The answer is simple.  From the start until now, my purpose is CONNECTION and ENCOURAGEMENT.  The concern was that we were not together on any physical basis.
Heb 10:24-25a   and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds,
25  not forsaking our own assembling together,

A pandemic put us in a new place for a time.  This “morning time together” is my attempt to “stimulate one another to love and good deeds”.  It has been an attempt to draw our minds together to acknowledge our sameness and fellowship.  It’s been to me a call to the SPIRITUAL.   It’s been a hope shared that each of us will grow.  

1Cor 1:10    Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all agree and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be made complete in the same mind and in the same judgment.

I must desire togetherness.  I must respect God’s plan of togetherness in the Church. I must see the preciousness of the “bride of Christ”.  US TOGETHER...  IS A BEAUTIFUL THING!
It is a MIND-BODY-WORK reality and the FOCUS IS THE SOULS OF MEN!

My Prayer:
Father, thank you for the Body of Christ.  Draw us together that we might sing your praises as one.  Make us one in heart that we might draw men to YOU.  Revive our souls dear God.  Give us a new chapter of growth as we come together.  Create in us a clean heart Oh God, and renew a right spirit within us.  Restore to us the joy of your salvation.
